Competitor Information

Each person must be an Active member in good standing of BHS, a district, and a chapter.

1. Go to - https://members.barbershop.org   
2. You can join, or log in to check on the status of your membership.
3. All competitors must be members of a district, and at least one of you must be in CSD.
4. If you are not active with a chapter, you can join the Frank Thorne chapter.

Each group must be an Active ensemble in good standing.

CHORUS
Your Chapter Secretary or Chorus Manage must ensure:

• The singers who intend to compete are Active.
• They have assigned the current chorus director(s).

QUARTET
Quartets must be registered at the Standard level to be eligible to compete.

• New Quartet?
  • Log on @ https://members.barbershop.org, then under More Barbershop, click Register/Reinstate a Quartet
  • It can take a few days for BHS staff to confirm that your requested name is available & acceptable.  You should register your new quartet at least 6 weeks before the contest.
    
    
• Existing Quartet?
  • Log on @ https://members.barbershop.org, then Manage My Singing Communities
  • Confirm all your current quartet members are listed, and active

Each group must enter the contest(s) before the entry deadline (4 weeks before convention)

• BHS – first enter the info that BHS requires:

  3. This site contains links to tutorials on how to enter contests, update your song repertory, etc.

Contest Registration:
Each member must have a Full Weekend Competitor convention registration.

Hotel Reservation:
It is most convenient to stay at the headquarters hotel, and helps defray convention costs.
